She penned a sweet note for Ayan. Sharing a slow-motion video from their last vacay together, Alia wrote, ”It’s my best friends birthday.. and this video sums up our relationship in every way – fun.. free..together forever love you my genius boy.. Happy Birthday Ayanuuuu ”.

Sushant Singh Rajput Prayer Meet: Over 1 Million People Join Digitally(Photo Credit – Shweta Singh Kirti/Instagram)

Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, has revealed that more than a million people joined the global prayer meet for the late star, and called the moment a spiritual revolution.

Shweta took to Twitter and Instagram to thank the late actor’s fans and well-wishers around the globe for joining the prayer meet for her brother, and shared a collage of pictures of those who attended.

“More than a million joining from all over the world to pray for Sushant. It’s a spiritual revolution and it is gaining momentum around the world, our prayers will not go unanswered,” she wrote, with hashtags: #GlobalPrayers4SSR, #CBIForSSR, #Godiswithus and #JusticeForSushant.

Actress Ankita Lokhande, who dated Sushant for over six years after they met on the sets of Ekta Kapoor’s TV show “Pavitra Rishta”, also offered prayers for him, and showed support to Shweta on her social media post.

“Prayers can change anything,” Ankita commented on Shweta’s Instagram post.

Sushant was found dead at his home in Mumbai on June 14. His death was termed a case of suicide, but the investigation took a different turn when his family lodged an FIR accusing his girlfriend, actress Rhea Chakraborty, and her family with abetment to suicide among other charges.

The initiative of a global prayer meet for Sushant was taken up on the two-month anniversary of the actor’s death.

“It has been 2 months you left us Bhai and we are still fighting to know the truth, to know what actually happened that day. I request you all to please join us for Global 24-hour spiritual and prayer observation for Sushant Singh Rajput, so that the truth prevails and we find justice for our beloved Sushant,” shared Shweta at the time of announcing the initiative.

Meanwhile, Sushant’s family as well as friends and well-wishers from the industry are joining forces to demand a CBI investigation into his death.

Nishikant Kamat Passes Away At 50 Following Chronic Liver Disease

Just as we think 2020 is getting any better, we have more shocks in store. In a sad turn of events, Drishyam director Nishikant Kamat has breathed his last in Hyderabad. The filmmaker was undergoing treatment for liver-related problems in the same city. The news comes in as a shocker for Bollywood and the fans of the director.

Nishikant Kamat, 50, was diagnosed with Chronic liver disease and secondary infections. The news of his demise was confirmed by Riteish Deshmukh on Twitter

“I will miss you my friend. #NishikantKamat Rest In Peace,” Riteish wrote on Twitter as he shared a picture hugging the late filmmaker. The two have collaborated on Deshmukh’s hit venture Lai Bhari.

Nishikant Kamat was a filmmaker who was hailed for his genre of filmmaking. The director has two suspense thrillers to his credit including Ajay Devgn and Tabu starrer Drishyam, and late Irrfan Khan starrer Madaari. Both critically acclaimed. Kamat is also the man behind two John Abraham films, namely Force and Rocky Handsome. The director has also done some accalimed films in Marathi. Making his debut with Dombivali Fast, he has also worked on Riteish Deshmukh’s Lai Bhari.

Among the several others claiming that the actor was murdered is Sushant’s former manager Ankit.

Yes, you read that! In his recent interview, Ankit has said that he feels that Sushant Singh Rajput was murdered by his own staff. Questioning the reason behind a locksmith being called, instead of breaking open the door of Sushant’s room, Ankit has made several points. Ankit has also stated that the late actor never slept with the door of his room closed.

Speaking to Times Now, Ankit has revealed that he has been getting threat calls saying that he will loose his life if he continues to be a witness to the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Calling it a ‘murder’ the former assistant said that SSR would never take his own life because he was a very positive person.

Ankit was further quoted saying, “Vo kabhi bhi darwaja band karke sotey hi nhi they kyunki me unki bagal me sota that kyunki char bje humko uthana padta tha. Vo kitab padhtey rehtey they, game kheltey rehtey they, apni films dekh ke hastey rehtey they. Kitna badhiya admi they to June 14 ko unke staff 10 bje se 2 bje take unke pass kyu nhi gae. Agar vo darwaja nhi khol rahey they to tod saktey they na. Cabhi walley ko kyu bulaya gaya. Depesh (Sushant’s staff) jb dead body ko le ja rahey they to vo wahi tha. Vo bag khol kar kuch kar raha tha, kuch chupana cah raha tha. Tb maine usko gor se dekha. To us bag me hi sabut ho sakta hai.”

Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinder said in his statement, “Sushant had been calling his family, informing them of his decision to move out of Mumbai and requesting them to come meet him. After several days of Sushant calling and crying over the phone, his sister Mitu agreed to come live with him on 8th of June 2020. Due to this development, Sushant requested Rhea to live with her parents for the time being.”

Satish Maneshinde added, “Rhea had been suffering from her own anxiety issues and often endured panic attacks. Sushant’s conduct also aggravated these conditions. Even though Rhea was desirous of seeing her family, she was not at all comfortable with leaving Sushant. The very same day,8th June 2020, Rhea had arranged to have a therapy session of her own with Dr. Susan Walker and requested Sushant if she could leave after the session. However, Sushant told her to leave immediately before his sister Mitu arrived. Thus Rhea reluctantly left and informed Sushant to let her or her brother know about anything he required or in case he needed to talk.”

Mahesh Bhatt is all set to make his directorial comeback in Bollywood with Sadak 2. But rather than his film, he has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From being slammed for being nepotistic to Sadak 2‘s trailer becoming one of the most disliked videos on YouTube, he has been facing a lot.

Recently, he was also accused of promoting a modelling firm which has been allegedly exploiting and s*xually abusing girls. Along with Mahesh Bhatt, other celebs like Mouni Roy, Urvashi Rautela, Rannvijay Singha and Prince Narula have also been accused of the same. The National Commission for Women had issued notices to these celebs for promoting the firm named IMG ventures.

Now, Mahesh Bhatt has issued an official statement in his defence. The statement has been shared by Vishesh Films’ official Instagram account. It reads as follows,

“I salute the National Commission for Women for taking up the noble cause of whistle blowing the vulnerability and exploitation of women by few miscreants who bring shame and disgrace to the entire industry.”

Mahesh Bhatt continues, “I appeared before the Hon’ble Commission today in context of the complaint filed by M Yogita Bhayana, Founder of People against Rapes in India against Mr. Sunny Verma, promoter of the company IMG Ventures. I was summoned to appear as my name and images were used by IMG Ventures for promotion of their event Mr. and Miss. Glamour 2020, scheduled to be held in November, 2020.”

“I clarified to the Hon’ble Chairperson that while I was approached to attend this event as a Chief Guest, I had responded that in the current COVID 19 circumstances, I would not attend any event. I could give it a thought closer to November, depending on the circumstances at the relevant time, I have neither entered into an agreement nor received any monetary consideration for the event. Unfortunately, my name and images were picked up from social media and misused in relation to the event without my consent and authority. When I confronted them on this, they have apologized profusely and withdrawn all my images in association with the event.” it further reads.

“I am issuing this statement to make everyone aware that I have no association with IMG Ventures, Sunny Verma and Mr.and Miss. Glamour 2020 and my name and credibility should not be misused for promotion of the event to lure participation of others,” says Mahesh Bhatt in the statement.

“I am 71 years of age and at this age, I believe in sharing knowledge and support social causes. As a father of three girls, I have the highest regard for the cause taken up by Ms. Yogita and the National Commission for Women and express my full cooperation for the crusade.” he concludes.

The case is getting so complicated, that even the family of the late actor has started to feel helpless. Well, there are two sides to Sushant’s death case from day one. One side is what Rhea Chakraborty trying to show the media and the other what his family is.

A few days back, the Jalebi actors call records were doing the rounds after she was questioned by the ED. News channel Times Now reported that one of the frequently called people among Rhea’s call-log is someone with initials AU.

The report mentioned that the actor, who’s accused of abetting SSR’s alleged suicide, made multiple calls to a mysterious person whose number was saved as AU. However, the report suggested that when the number was dialled, someone with the initials ‘SU’ received it. It is believed that these call logs and ‘AU’ is one of the major angles of the probe for CBI currently.

The channel also reported that co-incidentally, Aditya Thackeray’s official Twitter handle is also named @AUThackeray. Well, now Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde has made some explosive revelation regarding Aditya Thackeray’s name being brought in the case.

He said, “The comments made at the last hearing before the Hon’ble Supreme Court on the 11th of August 2020, make it evident that this has become more about politics than the truth. Unwanted and irrelevant submissions are being made. The number of Politicians taking advantage of this case on the eve of elections in Bihar.”

Satish further added, “Rhea does not know and has never met Aaditya Thackeray till today. Neither has she ever spoken to him telephonically or otherwise. Though she has heard of him as a leader of the Shiv Sena. She knows and has met Dino Morea socially as he is her Senior in the Film Industry.”

Rhea Chakraborty Lands In A Soup After An Old Video With Mahesh Bhatt Goes Viral

Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been receiving a lot of flak on social media. She has been accused of abetment of suicide, cheating and many more things by the late actor’s father KK Singh. The Enforcement Directorate has also registered a money laundering case against her and the probe is on.

While all the allegations are targeting towards Rhea Chakraborty, an old interview of the actress describing her definition of love during the promotions of her film Jalebi has surfaced online. And the video has gone viral on social media.

The actress can be heard saying that her idea of love changed after working in Jalebi. During an interview with Good Times, Rhea Chakraborty said, “I think a lot has changed post-shooting this film. My definition of love was something else.”

When she was asked further to comment on what her idea was. Rhea said, “It was what it is for everybody. Like going on a date, like doing those romantic things and this and that and then getting done with it. Then getting to a point after year and a half where you want to kill each other and change each other. The whole circle.”

She further added, “But now I think it is really different. I think I have a very different perspective of love, it’s more evolved, it’s more deep, it’s more real, it’s more raw and that also means I am possibly going to stay single for the rest of my life.”

Coming back to the case, Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde had issued a statement in regards to allegations of money laundering and abetment of suicide. He said, “It is total nonsense and an afterthought to make allegations after a period of 40 days, the manner in which it has been made before Bihar Police. No allegations whatsoever were made till 27th July 2020 by anybody in the family before the Mumbai Police or to any authority. Their statements were recorded by police in Mumbai. They are educated and have an IPS officer OP Singh in the family. The allegations are totally concocted and fabricated for ulterior purposes.”

Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Doctors Who Conducted Post-Mortem Are Subjected To Online Harassment & Abusive Calls(Pic credit: Instagram/sushantsinghrajput)

Since Sushant Singh Rajput’s death in mid-June, the late actor has been in news every single day. Now, the five doctors who signed the post-mortem report are being targeted. They are being harassed online as well as receiving abusive calls.

For the unversed, in the post-mortem report conducted hours after Sushant’s death, Cooper hospital had said the actor had died of ‘asphyxia due to hanging’. However, the actor’s family have suggested a foul play in the case. His family lawyer even claimed that the time of death was not mentioned in the autopsy report.

A Mumbai Mirror report states that the malicious campaign put the doctors’ names with their phone numbers and a copy of the autopsy report online three days ago. In it, they allege that the doctor had taken a bribe to declare that the actor died by suicide.

The report further said that not only was it widely shared, but many people also began making abusive calls to them. The post also had a screenshot of the Facebook account of one of the doctors and the LinkedIn profile of another. Some people have even tracked down the doctors’ alternative contact numbers by pretending to be patients in distress. The hospital’s landline too is ringing with many calls.

From demanding that the doctors’ licences be cancelled and be booked for murder to asking for the hospital’s closure, the trollers haven’t spared anyone. They have even published the contact numbers and work profiles of doctors with similar names.

Dr Pinakin Gujjar, dean of Cooper hospital, confirmed to the media portal that the doctors are being abused online as well as on calls.

The Mumbai Mirror report also stated that the five doctors have expressed concern for their family’s safety. It also said that they are scared to file a police complaint fearing further harassment.

In the latest developments, the Supreme Court has ordered Central Bureau of Investigation to take over the Sushant Singh Rajput case. Also, the court has ordered the Bihar police to hand over the case registered with them to the CBI. As per a Time Of India report, the court has said that Mumbai Police will still have the jurisdiction of the case. However, they are ordered to hand over all the evidence of the case to the CBI.

Reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision for a CBI probe in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that everything was done as per the law in Bihar. He also denied any kind of politics in the matter.

Today, the Supreme Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation to take over the Sushant Singh Rajput case. It also told the Bihar police to hand over the case registered with them to the CBI.

After this order, the CM Nitish Kumar said: “After the Supreme Court’s decision, it is now clear that whatever was done in Bihar (in relation to Sushant Singh Rajput’s case) was constitutional, legitimate and as per the law.”

Expressing happiness over this decision, Nitish said, “This is a victory of justice, not of us. We have followed the Constitution and after this decision, it is believed that the family will now get complete justice.”

Asked if there was any politics in it, he said that it has nothing to do with politics, it has a relation with law and justice only. Meanwhile, Information and Public Relations Minister of Bihar Neeraj Kumar said that with the decision of the Supreme Court, the public’s trust in the judicial system has been strengthened.

He said that non-cooperation by the Mumbai police with the Bihar police team was to obstruct the probe. This team came to Mumbai after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father registered an FIR in Bihar.

He said that on the request of family members, the Chief Minister recommended a CBI inquiry.

Dancing diva Shefali Jariwala and singer Mika Singh have collaborated on a remake of a hit song of the nineties. But the duo wants to keep the suspense alive and are not revealing the name of the number yet.

The duo recently shot for the song’s music video amidst the lockdown.

Shefali Jariwala said, “Over the years I have got various offers for remixes and original songs, but nothing excited me.” Shefali, who recently featured in Bigg Boss 13 gained fame for the popular but controversial 2002 music video ‘Kaanta laga.’

Talking further Shefali Jariwala added, “Mika and I have been friends for over a decade, and have been wanting to do something together for a long time. It’s only during the lockdown when Mika sent me this song, I was immediately on board.”

Talking about the track Shefali said: “It’s a remake of a song from the ’90s, but the flavour is completely different. Mika has composed and sung the song brilliantly. It’s a classy track with a sensuous and mysterious undertone, showcasing the side of love that has never been attempted before.”

With the Special Investigation Team of the CBI going out all guns blazing against all possible angles in the Sushant Singh Rajput case, senior advocate Vikas Singh representing the late actor’s family, slammed Rhea Chakraborty and claimed she “has never cooperated with Sushant’s family and is playing double game”.

“Rhea has not cooperated with the family, she didn’t even offer condolences to the family when the mishap took place. Moreover, when the request for CBI probe was made, they opposed it tooth and nail. She may have put out a video in support of the CBI probe but her legal team opposed the same strongly,” the senior advocate said.

He further said that if she really wanted to cooperate with Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, she could have withdrawn her petition from the Supreme Court. Said Singh, “Rhea is playing a double game in this matter, if she wanted to support the family, then why did she file this petition in the Supreme Court.”

Reacting to Sandip Ssingh, who claimed to be a friend of Sushant Singh Rajput and said that he is one of the first people to reach the late actor’s residence after hearing the news of his death, the senior advocate said that no one from Sushant’s family knew about him. Ssingh is the producer of a biopic on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

“How can Sandip come out suddenly just like that. No one from the family knew Sandip. When he was not in touch with him for a long time, how did he reach there suddenly?” questioned Vikas Singh.

Singh further said: “Two lockers from Sushant Singh Rajput’s home were broken, now we don’t know who broke it, was it Rhea Chakraborty, was it the staff at his home or someone else, this is a matter of investigation and it would unfold when the CBI would proceed further in the matter.”

The CBI team probing the Sushant case, once again on Monday questioned the actor’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani and his staff Neeraj Singh and once more visited the Waterstone resort, where the Bollywood star stayed for two months.

According to CBI sources, Pithani and Singh joined the questioning earlier in the day at the DRDO guest house in Mumbai’s Santacruz area.

The CBI source added that on Sunday the agency had also questioned the actor’s personal staff Dipesh Sawant apart from Pithani and Singh about the behaviour of Sushant after his break-up with Rhea Chakraborty and whether she took financial and professional decisions for Sushant, besides whether she really was keeping the late actor away from his family.

The source said that the CBI will summon more people for questioning in the case including Rhea, her father Indrajit, brother Showik and mother Sandhya. The CBI could ask Rhea why she left Sushant’s flat on June 8 and what was the reason for her breakup with the 34-year-old actor.

However, Rhea’s legal team has clarified that the actress and her family have not received summons from the CBI.

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra flat in Mumbai on June 14. Now, the CBI has taken over the case.

In an interesting development, it is being reported that the mobile phone of Disha Salian was used till nine days after her death. Disha, former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, passed away in Mumbai on June 8 by allegedly jumping off a highrise apartment.

Not only was Disha’s phone switched on after her death, but internet calls were placed from the phone between June 9 and June 17, according to a report in Zeenews.india.com. The report further states that as per an eyewitness, even though Mumbai Police had quickly reached the spot where Disha was lying, they did not confiscate her phone.

As per a report in Timesofindia.com, Mumbai Police had switched on Disha’s phone after her death as part of their investigation protocol. The report further states that call data records of Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-managers phone have revealed that the internet was used till nine days after her demise.

Meanwhile, netizens are alleging that there is a foul play in Disha Salian’s death and that it was not suicide. They are also speculating that the death of Sushant Singh Rajput on June 14 must have some connection with that of his former manager Disha, who died six days before.
