Sushant Singh Rajput’s death has left many voids. Not just his family, but the entire nation and the film fraternity are mourning the loss of an exceptionally brilliant actor and a genius. One among them in actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actor has said that he had interacted with Sushant on several occasions and is yet to come to terms with his death.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui further said that he is unable to understand how a person like Sushant, who was so full of life, decided to end it? The Kick actor said that Singh was always giving out positive vibes and it is very difficult for him to process the news.

Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Nawzuddin Siddiqui said, “He was so full of life. He was a born conversationalist. He liked to engage people in conversations, he could spin magic with words. You were simply charmed into being attentive when he held forth on any topic under the skin.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui continued, “I met him on several occasions. And we really liked one another. I could feel his positive vibes every time we met. Which is why I found it hard to believe when he was suddenly gone. How could Sushant Singh Rajput be done with life? He was so full of life and ideas.”

While most newcomers and actors eye scripts and films that would become blockbusters. Sushant Singh Rajput instead chose to do films like Sonchiriya and Detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Lauding these choices of his, Nawazuddin said, “He was a big star. He could have done the biggest of blockbusters. Instead, he did Detective Byomkesh Bakshy and Sonchiriya. Sushant was a true artiste. He was driven by a passion for his work. Money meant nothing to him.”

Expressing his grief over all the speculations that are being made around the death of SSR, Nawazuddin Siddiqui said, “Who are these friends that are talking about him? Did they even know him?”

Meanwhile with the CBI taking over the case of Sushant Singh Rajput looks like the truth will be out soon. Also for those of you who have joined in late, it is possible that the Narcotics department too shall soon get involved in the case to investigate the drug abuse angle.

Sanjay Dutt made headlines when he was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital after complaining of breathlessness. Soon after, reports began doing rounds that the actor has been diagnosed with 4th stage Lung Cancer. But the rumour mill did not stop here. It was also being stated that the actor’s health is rapidly deteriorating. Now a close friend and producer Rahul Mittra has shunned all such reports around the health of Sanju Baba.

While Rahul Mittra has said that Sanjay Dutt is not battling 4th stage lung cancer, he even said that he ailment reports are false. The producer has said that there are tests that are being conducted and only then will it be confirmed as to what ailment and what stage is it that the Sadak actor is battling.

Speaking to DNA, Rahul Mittra said, “I have said categorically that tests are going on. I rubbish all the reports stating that it is the third stage or fourth stage. There is an ailment. What ailment is it and what stage is it, will be confirmed when all the tests are done.”

Calling Sanjay Dutt a fighter, Rahul Mittra says that he is confident that the actor is soon going to bounce back. Requesting people to stop all kinds of speculations, the Torbaaz producer said, “Sanju has time and again shared all the updates with his fans. No one has the right to speculate on the stage of the ailment, it is for the person going through it to confirm or his doctor or family members. He is a warrior, he is going to come back.”

Well on the professional front, Sanjay Dutt has a lot of moolah raking on him. The bad-boy of Bollywood has an interesting line up of films in his kitty including, KGF: Chapter 2, Shamshera, Sadak 2 and Bhuj: The Pride Of India.

Rhea Chakraborty, in her latest interview, revealed that the actor felt claustrophobic in flight and took a particular medicine for it. Replying to the claim is ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande, who has shared a video of the late actor in a plane and cryptically rubbished the claim. Below is what Lokhande has to say.

A quick recap, Rhea Chakraborty appeared for an approximately 2-hour long interview. An excerpt of which dropped this morning. In the snippet, Rhea is talking about her trip to Europe with the late actor. The Jalebi actress shared when she came to know that Sushant was suffering from depression.

According to the snippet released by Aaj Tak, Rhea Chakraborty said that Sushant Singh Rajput before leaving for their Europe trip told her that sitting on a flight makes him claustrophobic. She also claimed that he took a medicine named Modafinil for the same. As per Rhea, he carried it with him everywhere.

Now, Ankita Lokhande has reacted to the same. In a video shared by the Pavitra Rishta actress, Sushant can be seen sitting in a cockpit. We see him pretty excited to be in that space. Captioning the video, Lokhande wrote, Is this #claustrophobia? You always wanted to fly, and you did it, and we all are proud of you”.

Actor Randeep Hooda was hospitalized yesterday. His fans were left worried wondering what happened to the actor. There was no update at all apart from the fact that he underwent a surgery. Koimoi has now exclusively learnt that Randeep has undergone a leg surgery. A source close to the actor revealed that the operation went well, and the actor is doing fine. As far as his health is concerned, there’s nothing to worry about.

In fact, the good news is that Randeep Hooda will be discharged soon. His father also came forward and released a statement about his son’s condition.

Randeep Hooda’s father Ranbir said, “Thank you for all your concern. Randeep had a surgery yesterday, he’s recovering and will be discharged soon. He’s COVID-19 negative and the surgery went well. So, we will be able to take him home soon.”

Meanwhile, Randeep Hooda recently spoke to us about his Bollywood journey and more. He even spoke about his Hollywood debut, Extraction. The Love Aaj Kal actor shared the screen space with Chris Hemsworth aka Thor.

Talking about the same, “Chris was really sweet. He’s a very funny guy, full of energy. The kind of hard work he puts is amazing – be it as a person, as a family man or a co-actor. I mean he’s ‘Chris Hemsworth’ but he’s a gem of a guy. So it was a real treat to share working time with him,” shared the actor.

When asked about his future plans in Hollywood, Randeep did tease fans. He said, “Well, things are being planned. Because of this pandemic, everything is kind of on a halt. Definitely when things are back, hoping more doors will open for me all across the world.”

After the NCB filed a case and is about to begin probe about the drug involvement, Rhea shared a post on Instagram. In the note, she conveyed how photographers and people have gathered in her complex. She even expressed the possibility of a life threat.

Sharing the video, Rhea Chakraborty wrote, “This is inside my building compound, The man in this video is my father Indrajit Chakraborty ( retd . army officer ) We have been trying to get out of our house to cooperate with ED, CBI and various investigation authorities to cooperate. There is a threat to my life and my family’s life.”

The Jalebi actress added that she did approach the police, but no help has been provided. She wrote, “We have informed the local police station and even gone there, no help provided. We have informed the investigation authorities to help us get to them, no help arrived.”

Concluding the post, Rhea Chakraborty has requested for police protection. She is worried about her family’s safety. “How is this family going to live? We are only asking for assistance, to cooperate with the various agencies that have asked us. I request @mumbaipolice to please provide protection so that we can cooperate with these investigation agencies. #safetyformyfamily. In covid times, these basic law and order restrictions need to be provided. Thank you,” Rhea concluded.

Rhea Chakraborty told Aaj Tak, “This is completely a baseless allegation. There is no hard drive that I am aware of. There is no person. No one had come to the home till I was there. Rhea Chakraborty said she cannot believe Sidharth would make such a claim. She added, “I don’t believe he would have said something like this. I believe there is a story that has been created, just like there is a new story created every day. It’s completely baseless.”

She said that before the Europe trip, Sushant told her that he has claustrophobia and would take a medicine called ‘Modafinil.’ She added that he would always carry that medicine with him. As the biggest star in our country, he adds to the commercial value of the film. But more than that, he has a great combination of calmness and aggression. As the writer and director, that appealed to me.”

We have learnt that the film will finally roll in December. “Tejas was supposed to go on the floors a few months ago, however had to be postponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent lockdown. But with things gradually getting back to normal team Tejas has decided to start shooting for the film from December. It will kick start in Mumbai and will also be shot in Rajasthan,” informs a source close to the development.

The informer adds that the shooting of the Kangana Ranaut starrer will begin keeping all the safety precautions in mind. Tejas was announced in February 2020 and narrates the story of a daring fighter pilot.

Another Ronnie Screwvala production, the Taapsee Pannu starrer Rashmi Rocket will also roll from November. Many TV shows began shooting from July keeping all the necessary precautions in check, while the Bell Bottom team – Akshay Kumar, Huma Qureshi, Lara Dutta and Vaani Kapoor – left for Scotland earlier this month to start shooting.

Many more films including the Alia Bhatt starrer Gangubai Kathiawadi is rumoured to start filming from next month.

Just a few moments ago, Rhea has made some shocking revelations about Sushant. She has openly spoken on her relationship with the late actor. She even revealed of not having a proper conversation about settling down in life.

While speaking to Aaj Tak, Rhea Chakraborty said, “We (she and Sushant Singh Rajput) didn’t formally talk about marriage.” She even spoke on how the love between them blossomed. “We met at Yash Raj Studios in 2013. My first film had already released and his film Kai Po Che was either released or was about to release. We had the same manager. We kept meeting at different award shows. I liked him and there was something different about him. We then met at Rohini Iyer’s party in April 2013, and then it started. Sushant told me that he fell in love with me in one day but I had asked for 2-3 month time. ‘I love you’ was such a big word and I didn’t know that I would have to be punished like this for love.”

The Jalebi actress further even added that during the lockdown phase, Sushant Singh Rajput, who was already suffering from a Bipolar, got more depressed.

Rhea Chakraborty stated that Sushant Singh Rajput was totally a different person and wasn’t fond of city life. As per her, he wanted to shift to Coorg. “Sushant was preparing to shift to Coorg and he was talking to his lawyer about it. He previously wanted to shift to Bir. He was not a big fan of city life. Contrary to allegations, I was very supportive because long-distance relationship works too,” she added.

A day after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) registered a case against late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, the agency is all set to question 20 people in the coming days.

According to senior NCB sources related to the probe, the agency has prepared the list of 20 suspects over supply of drugs in the case including Gaurav Arya, Suved Lohia, Kwan Entertaiment partner Jaya Saha, ex-Big Boss contestant Ejaz Khan, Farookh Batata, and Bakul Chandani, among others.

The development comes a day after the NCB registered a case under Sections 20 (b) 28, 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act against Rhea Chakraborty, her brother Showik, Saha, Sushant’s co-manager Shruti Modi, and Arya.

The sources said that Arya is absconding with Akshit Shetty.

They also said that on August 16, a rave party was raided in Goa in which Arya was involved in supplying drugs.

According to NCB sources, Khan was arrested by Navi Mumbai Police for dealing in drugs in October 2018 while Chandani, owner of Sarvodaya video library in Mumbai’s Khar, was arrested in December 2018 by the Anti Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police with cocaine and LSD.

After Rhea’s nexus with the drug peddlers became public, the NCB was roped in on the request of the ED.

Earlier in the day, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) made some sensational findings from the two confiscated mobile phones of Rhea which indicted several players including her in the case.

The ED documents reveal the painstaking work by the probe agencies and Rhea’s alleged bank fraud and suspicious nexus with the drug peddlers.

Rhea allegedly stole Sushant’s debit card passwords and for that she took the help of Samuel Miranda, the house manager of the late actor, sources said.

The 34-year-old actor was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his Bandra flat in Mumbai on June 14, and Rhea was named the prime suspect by his family in a case registered at Patna police station on July 25.

Akshay Kumar Gets Nostalgic As He Shoots For Bell Bottom In Scotland 21 Years After Aarzoo

‘Ab tere dil mein hum aa gaye.’ This was the Anu Malik composed and Anand Bakshi written chartbuster song that Akshay Kumar shot 21 years ago in Scotland. He was paired with Madhuri Dixit in the film and Kumar Sanu and Alka Yagnik made sure that they deliver their best rendition. The actors also ensured that they gave this melodious number complete justice.

After shooting for the song back in 1999, Akshay Kumar was pleasantly surprised when he found himself back at the same scenic locations for his upcoming film Bell Bottom.

“After spending a few days in quarantine, Akshay Kumar faced the camera for a feature film after a really long time,” says a source close to the actor. “Though he has shot for a few campaigns as well as endorsements in the interim period, being on the sets and real locations for a film was nostalgic enough for him. No wonder, he had a really broad grin on his face once he found himself amidst beautiful scenic locales of Scotland. For him, it was a journey back in time” added the source.

Though Akshay Kumar has shot world over in numerous countries over the years, surprisingly he hadn’t been to Scotland in the last 20 years.

“He has very fond memories of shooting with Madhuri Dixit. At that time, he was riding up the ladder and was known more for his action films. On the other hand, Madhuri Dixit was a top superstar. To be working together in an out and out romantic musical drama was a unique experience for Akshay as well,” the source continues.

The source added, “The hills, lakes and gardens were etched in his memory. It was a whole new set up for him, when compared to all the cars he was chasing, the bikes he was riding, the planes he was climbing and the hovercrafts he was escaping.”

Though Bell Bottom too is a period drama and expected to be an intense spy thriller, one now waits to see how Scotland’s beautiful locations complement the storytelling. The fact that the superstar is shooting the entire film there, in a start to finish schedule, one can expect the country to only add on to the nostalgia.

Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik have once again appeared before the Central Bureau of Investigation’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) for another round of questioning in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Rhea and Showik arrived at the DRDO guesthouse for the fourth consecutive day.

The agency sources said that they will be questioned about Rhea Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput’s break-up. They will also be quizzed about when she came to know about the death of the actor and how she managed to enter the mortuary of Cooper hospital.

Rhea Chakraborty will also be questioned about the drug chats and relations with filmmaker Sandeep Ssingh. She was questioned by the CBI for over 25 hours in last three days. On Friday she was questioned for over 10 hours, seven hours on Saturday and eight hours on Sunday.

Following the Supreme Court’s nod, the CBI arrived in Mumbai after they registered a case on the Centre’s orders on August 6. On July 25, Sushant Singh Rajput’s father K.K. Singh filed an FIR in a Patna police station against Rhea.

The CBI has till now questioned Sushant’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani, personal staff Neeraj Singh, Dipesh Sawant and others.

The CBI team also visited Cooper hospital twice and the Waterstone resort as well as the late actor’s Bandra flat. Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence.

Akshay Kumar & Katrina Kaif starrer Sooryavanshi is one such big Bollywood film which has been waiting for cinemas to re-open for long.

The film was slated to release in March this year but got postponed due to pandemic. It was estimated that it will release in 3-4 months but that didn’t happen. And then the reports started pouring in about its Diwali release.

Now it is a big question if Sooryavanshi will release in cinemas on Diwali. But an equally big question is if people will visit theaters amid this situation? Well, some international markets recently released Christopher Nolan’s biggie Tenet recently and it got a good response. Sooryavanshi, if comes in November, can be expected to do good as well, but nothing is guaranteed.

Actor Ram Kapoor has seen his share of ups and downs in the entertainment industry, having worked in TV, films and the OTT space. He says one has to be emotionally tough to survive here, and luck plays an important part to get success.

Kapoor is noted for his film roles in ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Udaan’, and ‘Thappad’ among numerous others. He has also forayed into the digital space with the web series ‘Abhay 2‘ and ‘A Suitable Boy’.

“It was such a treat to work with (director) Mira (Nair) in ‘A Suitable Boy’ because the story is set in a different era and I play a politician. It is a well written multi-layered character and it was a nice reunion,” Ram Kapoor told IANS. He had earlier worked with Nair in her 2001 film, ‘Monsoon Wedding’.

While the conversation around the dark side of Bollywood, and how mental health is affected by competition in the industry, Kapoor said that one has to find stability within.

“After the initial struggle I went through, I managed to make a name for myself in the television industry. Then it was my conscious decision to make a shift from quality to quantity. Today when I say that ‘work is fun for me’ and ‘I look for challenging and engaging characters in the kind of web series I do’, I say that with a certain amount of emotional and financial stability. I have earned it from television for more than 10 years,” he said.

“In our industry, the ups, the success, the fandom is extreme but when the downfall happens, it is really dark. If you are not emotionally tough, it will be tough for you to survive the dark period before you see the light!” he shared.

During the lockdown period, several television actors committed suicide including Preksha Mehta, Manmeet Grewal, Anupama Pathak, and Sameer Sharma. The untimely death of Sushant Singh Rajput, who also started his journey from television with the show “Pavitra Rishta”, was initially suspected to be a case of suicide by the Mumbai Police. However, the case is now under investigation by the CBI.

Although hard work plays an important role, Ram Kapoor emphasises on the luck factor, too.

“I am lucky to get the right opportunity at the right time to prove my talent. Honestly speaking, there are many actors I know who are talented. They are no less talented than I am but probably they did not get the kind of opportunity they deserve, or did not get the appreciation from the audience the way I got,” he said.

“I think it is pure luck and that is where my heart is filled with gratitude. Having said that, I would say whenever there is a down, it is only wise to stay hopeful and not give up. Who knows, the good time is just on the way, coming towards you to change your life for a greater good. I am eternally hopeful,” Ram signed off.

Sustainable farming should be taught as a subject at the school level, feels actress Bhumi Pednekar. Her observation comes after the actress did some reading to develop a small garden along with her mother at home during the lockdown.

Bhumi believes that if the subject is taught at school then the “future generations can actually practice farming and growing, as opposed to feeling it’s something very complex and tough and only meant for farmers”.

“Today, I wish I had learned more about growing and farming in school. We have no understanding of how to nurture and grow plant, grains and crop. It’s taken me a lot of reading and studying of something that should be knowledge received at lower education level,” Bhumi Pednekar added, revealing her personal experience at farming.

Bhumi Pednekar, who calls herself a Climate Warrior feels imparting this kind of education at school level will help people empathise with our planet at a time when it is continuously battling challenges caused by pollution and climate change.

Bhumi Pednekar last featured in the 2020 films Bhoot – Part One: The Haunted Ship and Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. The actress will soon star in Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare and Durgavati.

Rhea Chakraborty, one of the prime accused in Sushant Singh Rajput case, during an interview said that the late actor was in touch with Dr Harish Shetty for his mental health issues even before he had met her. Now, the doctor in question has given a statement to the Mumbai Police about the late actor’s diagnosis.

Dr Harish Shetty aka Harishankar Shetty, in his statement to Mumbai Police, has revealed that the late actor had visited his clinic in Andheri only once in 2014. He said that the actor had met him and spoke about his ailments.

According to Dr Harish Shetty’s statement, which was accessed by India Today, he claimed that when Sushant Singh Rajput visited his clinic, he only had sleeplessness and insomnia. To which the doctor examined him and did not find any serious issues back then.

Dr Harish Shetty statement reads, “In 2014, Sushant Singh Rajput visited my clinic in Andheri. He did not have any prior appointment to see me. That time the clinic was crowded and a lot of people were present inside. Sushant then told me that he couldn’t provide all the details of his ailment then and if needed he will come and see me again. He told me that he was suffering from sleeplessness and insomnia. So, I screened and examined Sushant and didn’t find any serious issues then. For sleeplessness and insomnia, I prescribed some medication and gave him a future date for an appointment.”

The doctor further claimed in his statement that Sushant Singh Rajput didn’t come for his follow-up appointment. In the statement, he also revealed his methods for treating his patients. He said that he would ask his patients if they are having any suicidal thoughts or fear or any kind of phobia.

“While treating or examining any patient, I ask for detailed information from them. During a primary examination, I ask them whether they have any suicidal thoughts. Whether they fear anything or have any kind of phobia. Whether they are getting proper sleep and if their appetite is normal. Only after that, as needed, I prescribe medicines to the patients. The patients are also asked to regular follow up visits. If required, I also refer them to other psychiatrists,” Dr Harish Shetty said in his statement to the police.

Amit posted a note for his fans and followers on Instagram informing them that he has reached Patiala and is set to commence the shoot soon.

Amit Sadh wrote: “Because I love you guys so much, I think it’s very important for me to tell you that I will be less active on social media for (a) couple of days/weeks. As you know I am prepping for Zidd and I have reached Patiala and very soon we will start the shoot!”

Amit Sadh shared that he wants to give full attention to his work. His post continued reading, “The bond that I share with all of you means the world to me. At this point my work and role needs all my attention and I hope your life, your work 100 percent attention and I will come back whenever I can with some news to share about my life or work.
