Singh Saab The Great began its 2nd Friday on a low note. The film that failed to soar despite local flavor and high single screen likeability made a business of 1.20 crores on its 2nd Friday. With that the film’s total collections now rests at 24.20 crores at the domestic box office.

Despite faring reasonably well in single screens, the film did not do well in multiplexes. Though Sunny Deol returned in an excessively robust avatar, quite typical of his kind of roles, the film lost out its multiplex crowd which resulted in its dismal performance. Though it garnered above average reviews from critics, it did not quite appeal to large section of the urban crowd given its rustic flavor. It is doubtful whether the film will recover its investment, let alone hitting the profit zone. However, its 2nd weekend is crucial to determine the film’s box office fate.
