Pen India Pvt. Ltd. has kicked off 2014 with a double treat for themselves. If trade buzz is to be believed Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Its Entertainment that was previously being produced by Tips Films has now been acquired by Pen India.

Not only did Jayantilala Gada earn for himself this extravagant deal but also has managed to buy the rights of Reliance Entertainment’s romantic comedy Total Siyapaa. The partnership arrangement that Pen has arrived in with ‘& Pictures’ states a 50% equity in the satellite deal of Total Siyappa ala Chennai Express‘ design between Red Chillies and UTV. Reliance will take care of distributing the film overseas.
Interestingly, the production tampering has resulted in delaying the release of the Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam starrer which will now be promoted humongously by Zee which handles ‘& Pictures’. Total Siyappa‘s release date has been shifted from January 30th to March 7th.
