Bollywood has a thing for sequels and the newest to join this bandwagon is the 2000 film Dhadkan. The romantic drama which starred Shilpa Shetty, Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar in lead roles is all set to have a sequel.

We hear, the film’s producer Ratan Jain has roped in director Vikram Bhatt to direct the sequel. The original film was directed by Dharmesh Darshan. While the sequel is still in its nascent stage as the script is being carved out and the makers are yet to decide if the sequel too will have a love triangle.
Also the star cast of the film is yet to be decided. The film is all set to commence its first leg of shooting from March 2015.
