Aamir Khan’s upcoming drama PK was recently being shot at the ancient Kala Ram Mandir in Nashik. However the shoot came to a sudden halt when, one of the trustees of the temple prohibited filming and shooting in the premises of the temple.
When advocate Ajay Nikam raised an objection over the commencement of shoot at the temple, the crew informed that they had taken a prior permission for the shoot and only then started with it.

However, after a brief halt, the trustees allowed the shoot of the film considering the better interests of the city. They maintained that they would want Nashik to be in friendly terms with the film industry and that shooting at the famed temple would be in greater interest of the city. Also considering that the temple had an important context in the film.
