Mardaani still continued to remain strong on its second Thursday. The film collected 65 lacs on Thursday, which was more than its Wednesday collections. It now stands with a total collection of 31.80 crores at the domestic box office.
The Rani Mukerji film has turned out quite impressive. Even though the film had not created much buzz with its trailers, it has survived on a positive word of mouth as the film was lauded by audiences for an honest performance by Rani and the issue the film dealt with.

Being a women centric drama, Mardaani performed quite well and in fact way above what was expected from it.
The film is steady in its second week but the third weekend may turn out difficult for the film considering the release of Priyanka Chopra’s Mary Kom this Friday.
