For the second time, Chopra sisters Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra were all set to clash at the box office with their releases of Mary Kom and Daawat-E-Ishq after their initial clash last year with Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance. But now, YRF has confirmed that Daawat-E-Ishq will not be releasing of 5th September and has been postponed to a 19th September release.

While this move could have been taken by the production house to avert this tough clash with Priyanka’s biopic Mary Kom that is already gaining some strong responses, the makers claim that the postpone is due to a unique marketing strategy that YRF wants to adopt before the movie releases. Considering its implementation requires ample time, the release date of the film has been pushed further.
Interestingly, 19th September now gets crowded with the already slated releases of Khoobsurat, Ugly, Tamanchey, Ekkees Toppon Ki Salaami, Roar and Dr. Cabbie.
