Humpty Sharma Ki Dukhania added more moolah to its kitty in the third week. Despite facing a screen crunch due to Kick, the film collected 3.85 crores. It now stands with a total of 76.81 crores at the domestic box office.
The Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan starer has now surpassed the lifetime collections of Gunday which stood at 76.55. The romantic comedy performed well at the box office and remained steady for two weeks. It was after the release of Salman Khan’s Kick that the film slowed down.

With a hit music and a good chemistry between the lead pair, the film pulled off a decent business and is now the sixth highest grosser of 2014. With this, Alia Bhatt now has two films at the 5th and 6th position in the list of Highest Grossers of 2014.
