A dialogue in Ek Villain‘s trailer has an angry Sidharth Malhotra telling Riteish, “Main tujhe marne nahin doonga, lekin main tujhe roz marunga. Ek baar nahin hazaar baar marunga.”

In a recent interview Riteish told us how Sidharth used him as a punching bag throughout the shoot. Deshmukh said, “I was Sidharth’s punching bag. There was a scene in the film where I was almost dying and he had to punch me in the chest to revive me, he kept on hitting me and hitting me. Mohit kept saying ‘hit him hard, hit him hard.’And I was supposed to pretend to be dead, to be not breathing at all. I was at the brim and he punched and he punched me hard. I was not breathing and he was like breathe na! I was like I’ll be actually dead by the end of this film.”

We sniffed that Riteish might have let out a spoiler by saying he was almost dying the scene! But then again it could probably be a continuation sequence from the aforementioned line. Is Sidharth the savior or the killer is hard to decipher but that’s the fun of the film – the mystery in it.

Directed by Mohit Suri, the film that stars Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in lead roles is gearing up for release on 27th June.
