Citylights had an average second weekend at the Domestic Box Office. The film collected, 20 Lacs on 2nd Friday, 26 lacs on 2nd Saturday and 34 lacs on 2nd Sunday. The movie raked in 80 lacs in its 2nd weekend. With this, Citylights now stands with a collection of 6.80 crores at the domestic box office.

The film starring Raj Kumar Rao and Patralekha in lead roles managed to keep a steady pace over the week. Citylights being a non-commercial film could not prove to be a audience puller. The film had a tough competition from Tiger Shroff’s Heropanti which continued a good run at the box office even after releasing prior to Citylights.
Nevertheless, the good news is that, the satellite and music rights for Citylights have been sold for 7 crores already.
