Shah Rukh Khan is best remembered for his popular films. But ask his fans and they will vouch by little gems like Duplicate. Directed by Mahesh Bhatt, the film was a laugh riot that had Khan appearing in a double role. Koimoi has discovered an old rare interview of the team of Duplicate.
Shah Rukh Khan appeared quite excited about playing a double role in the film. The actor admitted that to be able to do justice to a role like that, one must have an acting experience of atleast 5-10 years. SRK even mentioned that a double role happened sooner to him than expected and he grabbed it sooner than he ideally should have.

Sonali Bendre elucidated about her character and so did Juhi Chawla. But what struck the most was Mahesh Bhatt’s explaining how he has finally made a feel good film and was excited about showing it his 4 year daughter Alia Bhatt. Bhatt thought that Duplicate is the kind of film he wanted to show his children. Bhatt said, “Children are usually not always impressed with their parents. Chances are that I will impress my four year old girl Alia with Duplicate.”
