Purani Jeans had a disastrous opening day at the Domestic Box Office. The film collected a mere 0.35 crores on Friday. The film had a low occupancy for morning shows and it continued to have a now show later in the day too.
The film starring Tanuj Virwani, Aditya Seal and Izabelle Leit in lead roles had no takers. After receiving poor responses from the critics there was less to look forward to in the film. Also with a film like The Amazing Spiderman 2 releasing a day prior, Purani Jeans had a tough competition.

The film even though being youth centric had a low star quotient and also the fact that despite coming from a big banner film, it couldn’t create a pre-release buzz. Thus, it was not received well by the audiences. The film is not at all expected to do wonders at the Box Office in the weekend.
