The release date of upcoming action drama, Phantom starring Saif Ali Khan and Katrina Kaif has been postponed to 2015. The film based on global terrorism, which was earlier set to release on 2nd October this year, will now release on Easter next year i.e 3rd April 2015.

While the reason for the delay has not been confirmed yet, one of the reasons for this postpone may also be to avoid clash with three other big releases on the same day. The Gandhi Jayanti slot this year is filled with three big releases of Haider, Bang Bang and Mary Kom.
The film is being directed by Kabir Khan and since it is set for an Easter release now, the film could score on the trade quotient.
