Well, before you jump to any conclusion, we would like to clarify here, that the rumoured ex-couple Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra would be clashing with each other as their Haider and Mary Kom arrive on the same day.
While we knew that Priyanka Chopra starrer biopic is set for a Gandhi Jayanti release, it will be clashing with Shahid Kapoor’s Haider. The makers of Haider, UTV recently announced the release date of Haider as 2nd October 2014.

Directed by Vishal Bharadwaj, the film is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet. The film also stars Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon in lead roles. The film had been in talks for Shahid Kapoor’s near-bald look in it. Major portions of the film have been shot in Srinagar, Kashmir.
Priyanka Chopra too who is playing the champion boxer Mary Kom has been in the news for her strict schedules while learning the sport. It will be interesting to see who steals the show as Shahid Kapoor or his ex-gf Priyanka Chopra battle it out on 2nd October in theatres for their releases.
