One of the most star studded event IIFA (International Indian Film Academy Awards) has been dragged into legal mess. Organized by Wizcraft, a lawsuit has been filed against them by travel agent Akarsh Kolaprath, who runs a Florida-based enterprise.
According to Akarsh, the organizers had struck a deal with him around three years ago, for making travel arrangements and hotel bookings for the event, which is going to be held from April 24 to 27. Apparently, Akarsh spent $2,65,000 on the arrangements for the organization after Wizcraft promised him 3% share of the entire profits.

Now claiming that Wizacraft have abruptly pulled out of his arrangements and decided to do their own bookings, he has sued the company for $7 million dollars on the grounds of breach of trust.
While the director of Wizcraft and IIFA, Sabbas Joseph, informed a popular daily of this claim being frivolous, the matter is sub-judice and will soon have hearing before the court.
