A project that has been in speculations for quite a long time now, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s historic drama Bajirao Mastani seems to have finally confirmed on its cast. After a successful stint in the love saga Ramleela, the lead pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh might enter the genre of history.
This Bhansali project has been in its casting stage for months now, since the director was keen on signing Deepika Padukone who has her hands full with Shuddhi too.

Previously the likes of Kareena Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were also considered for the role of Mastani where as the character of Bajirao Peshwa, now to be played by Ranveer had other strong contenders such as Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan.
Though the makers haven’t officially confirmed the news yet, we would still like to see the jodi sizzle the screen together!
