If gossip mongers have any truth in their story, Alia Bhatt is all set to star opposite Gen Y’s young superstar Ranbir Kapoor. The actor recently paired up with his Barfi! director Anurag Basu for a film, tentatively titled ‘Jagga Jasoos’, which is a hybridized version of Sherlock Holmes and James Bond.

The film’s script is still under work as Basu is finishing up with its drafts and has apparently been considering Alia Bhatt for the role. However, she hasn’t been formally signed in as the top actress but chances has it that she is amongst the top contenders for the role opposite R.K.
